The Warrenton Chapter

NatCapLyme is pleased to announce that the Warrenton Lyme Disease Support Group has joined our organization as a chapter.  We welcome this dedicated group into our Lyme patient support and advocacy family.

The Warrenton Lyme Disease Support Group meets  monthly  on the 3rd Thursday at 7pm at the Warrenton Church of Christ at 6398 Lee Hwy. Access Rd.

They are a small but ever growing group who meet to share their concerns, support and knowledge with one another. They range in age from high school to retired and farmer to engineer in vocation.  As a group, they participate in local and regional activities that promote Lyme awareness, as well as fun activities to lighten the seriousness of life with Lyme.

Joyce Nutz started the group 6 yrs. ago after she and some of her family members were symptomatic of Lyme.  She started the group to create a forum where she and others who were suffering the symptoms and consequences of Lyme could share their experience and provide mutual support.  She found this approach particularly helpful for the families of Lyme victims.  Joyce researches and reports on current medical endeavors in the Lyme disease arena.  Joyce can be reached at lymefauquier@gmail.com.
