Lexington Chapter

NatCapLyme welcomes this dedicated group into its family of support and advocacy chapters.  The Lexington Lyme Disease Support Group meets the second Saturday of each month at 10:00 a.m. Location:  The Old Courthouse, Two South Main Street, Lexington, VA.

The support group is led by Ellen Douty and Adrienne Hall-Bodie.  Ellen is a board member of NatCapLyme.  Her background in teaching, marketing and promotion, and as a business owner will serve her well for leading and supporting Lyme patients and caregivers. Having had Lyme for over 15 years, she is passionate about Lyme support.

Adrienne Hall-Bodie is a former teacher, retired after 20 years as administrative assistant at Washington and Lee University.  She is an avid hiker and horseback rider, who recently discovered she has had Lyme for several years. Adrienne can be contacted at bodie@rockbridge.net 

Directions to the Old Courthouse:

• I-81 to exit for I-64 West
• Take first exit to Rt. 11.
• Turn Left on Rt. 11
• Turn slight Right onto N. Main St.
• Stay straight to go onto N. Jefferson ST.
• Turn Left onto W. Preston St.
• Take the First Left onto Main St.
• The Old Courthouse is on your Right on the corner of Main St. and Washington St.

The directions sound complicated because of one-way streets. It is not as hard as it sounds.

The Entrance into the Old Courthouse is on the Back side of the building......handicap entrance on the ground floor.

The Public Meeting Room is immediately on your right when you enter the building.
